WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A MASON FAMOUS MASONS
WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A MASON FAMOUS MASONS
Freemasonry is the oldest and largest world wide
fraternity dedicated to the Brotherhood of Man under the Fatherhood of a Supreme
Being. Although of a religious nature, Freemasonry is not a religion. It urges
its members, however, to be faithful and devoted to their own religious
beliefs.
As a fraternity, Freemasonry provides an opportunity for men to meet and enjoy friendly companionship. In the spirit of helpfulness and brotherly love and guided by strict moral principles it encourages goodwill toward all mankind. Freemasonry is of a personal nature in its private ceremonies. Its ritual dramatizes a philosophy of life based on morality. It promotes self improvement. The tools of operative masons are used to symbolize and teach the basic principles of brotherly love, charity, and truth which Masons are encouraged to practice in their daily lives. Charity is a tangible way in which Masons help those whose circumstances in life fairly warrant it.

Worshipful Master, Masonic Year 2011
Mindoro Lodge No. 157
as we take the prelude march towards Masonic Year 2011, I cannot help but to feel extremely grateful for your trust and gesture of support. It is very encouraging to be assured that I do not stand alone in facing the complex tasks inherent to the exalted position of a Worshipful Master you have entrusted unto my shoulders.
This is therefore an opportune time to thank all my fellow Lodge Officers, our fellow Masonic Brothers, and every members of our Masonic Family for their advanced words of commitment to realize the ends and objectives we have set our eyes on for this Masonic Year.
Several activities aside from other regular charitable programs we
plan to hold this Masonic Year are the conduct
of a Medical Mission and Tree Planting activity which will be jointly undertaken with our brothers in Sablayan to promote camaraderie amongst our
brothers and Families of Masons in the whole Province.
It is also in this spirit that we have decided to launch this website that will serve as our bridge to our Masonic brothers not only in our entire country but the whole world , to continue foster solidarity amongst us all.
I have no doubt that through all our unselfish dedication to bring glory to our Lodge we shall find enthusiasm and vigor to attain our goal for this year and the next Masonic years to come.
Let us, brethren, unite in harmony and perfect solidarity, as we face the challenges of Masonic Year 2011. The contribution by each one of us of time, effort, material means and constructive suggestion will help a lot throughout the year’s endeavors.
"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" Psalm 133
